This is the best silk cabby ever made! Warren Hamilton, the craftsman of the 1950s through 1970s, benefited from seeing the construction of the great Thayer silk cabbies. And then he made a better one.
They aren't easy to find. All lacquered wood. The Hamilton cabby doesn't stick or get hung up. The load slides smoothly. The decoration is partly stenciled and partly hand painted. Beautiful and classy. Click photo to enlarge. Good condition.
