Lippincott Quarter-Go

I believe this was invented in the 1940s by Mal B. Lippincott. This one is from the 1960s, probably by Haenchen. Click photos to enlarge.

Show the locked box. Give an audience member the key. Place the locked box into a hat or open container on your table. Vanish a signed quarter or borrowed finger ring. Remove the locked box from the container and hand it to the person with the key to unlock and remove its contents. Voila! The quarter or ring. Magic! Well made with brass hinge and hasp. Original lock and key.

Thayer Coin Ladder - Quite Rare - SOLD

Floyd Thayer invented the Crystal Coin Ladder in 1907. Thayer Magical Manufacturing Company produced it for decades. This one is pictured in the Ultimate Thayer books on the press now.

Within the top is a rotating disc that drops coins, one at a time, down through the glass-covered front. As the coins hit the stops or pins within the frame, they appear to the audience as a shower of silver (on the black background) as they fall. At the bottom, they drop out into a glass bowl (not included) making a pleasant sound of falling coins.

A nice piece in very good condition and perfect working order. To my knowledge, only two have been on the market in the last fifteen years. Click photo to enlarge.

Miser's Dream Champagne Bucket - SOLD

The finest Miser's Dream coin pail ever! A gleaming Champagne Ice Bucket design with coin droppers in each handle and five coin loads in the base released one-at-a-time by a rotating disk (see photo above). It's 6 1/2 inches tall and 7 1/4 inches in diameter.

This is an entire act in one. The bucket/pail holds sixty or seventy coins (depends on thickness of coins you use)! The sound of coins dropping into the bucket is rich and crisp. The droppers and rotating disk work perfectly. I've never seen one like it before. Very well made.

Demon Multiplying Coin Plate - SOLD

In its original box with original instructions, this is the famous red bakelite coin plate from Davenport in England. Hallmarked with the demon logo. In mint condition, it adds coins to those on top of the plate when they are dropped into the hand of your audience volunteer. Every close-up magician needs this utility item!

Tenchi's Flying Coin - SOLD

From the 1970s, this is Tenchi's Flying Coin from Japan. This is a close up effect using two examinable solid, high quality hard plastic tubes. The performer can make coins (one at a time) "fly" from one tube to the other. Use American quarters or any coin that'll fit. You may even borrow the coins. Make five coins turn to four coins with the fifth flying to the other tube. Combine this with you Matrix or other coin routine. There are no magnets, waxes, threads or tapes used. 

In mint condition with original illustrated instructions (instructions are in Japanese, illustrations are in English). Includes the original box, too.
