Hartz Card Frame by Owen Magic Supreme - SOLD

You won't believe your eyes! Even if you know how it's done. Perfect mechanical constructed, the working of this piece has remained a secret for decades. Here's the effect: A card or two is selected from a deck. The cards are returned to the deck and reshuffled. The empty frame is shown as pictured. One audience member holds the frame. The magician throws the deck at the frame. Suddenly, the selected cards appear in the frame BEHIND the glass. The rear of the frame is unlatched and opened. The cards are removed. A true fooler. John Daniel's Traveling Pips - SOLD

A great trick! This is an example of the fine craftsmanship of John Daniel, former co-owner of Owen Magic Supreme (with Carl Owen) and illusionist. 

Based on an effect from the 1920s. You display a beautiful gold and black wooden easel or stand containing two jumbo Bicycle cards, an eight of diamonds (on the left) and a two of diamonds (on the right). They are turned face down on either end of the stand. With a magic wave, six pips move slowly and visibly from the left to the right. Then, the two cards are turned over. The eight has become a two, the two has become an eight! It's magic.
